At Zeal Motor Inc., we develop and manufacture FAT TRUCK® industrial amphibious vehicles, recognized for their ability to operate in some of the world’s most extreme environments. Our vehicles are used in strategic sectors such as energy infrastructure, telecommunications, mining, emergency services, and defence. The company is currently experiencing strong growth, both in manufacturing and internationally. To support this expansion, we are looking for an exceptional manufacturing leader capable of taking our operations to the next level.
We are looking for a Production Director with solid experience in complex manufacturing environments and assembly lines. This role is intended for a senior-level leader who has already contributed to structuring, optimizing, and scaling high-performing manufacturing operations in sectors such as: industrial equipment, specialized vehicles, heavy machinery, complex mechanical products, defence, transportation, advanced manufacturing. The selected candidate will play a central role in the evolution of our manufacturing capacity, productivity, quality, and operational execution.

Job description

• Structure and scale manufacturing operations to support rapid growth;
• Optimize assembly lines, production flows, and operational capacity;
• Implement a culture of operational excellence and accountability;
• Develop robust and scalable manufacturing standards;
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) aligned with strategic objectives;
• Continuously improve quality, efficiency, and production lead times;
• Work closely with engineering, purchasing, supply chain, and product development teams;
• Actively participate in the industrialization of new products and platforms;
• Develop talent and strengthen supervision and production teams;
• Contribute directly to the company’s long-term manufacturing direction.

Requirements

• Significant experience managing complex manufacturing operations;
• Mandatory experience with assembly lines;
• Experience in equipment, specialized vehicles, machinery, or complex industrial products;
• Experience in continuous improvement, Lean Manufacturing, and operational optimization;
• Demonstrated ability to manage manufacturing growth;
• Excellent understanding of quality, capacity, planning, and performance challenges

• Relevant university education in engineering, operations management, or equivalent;
• Bilingual in French and English.
