Buyer / Purchasing Agent

Zeal Motor Inc. is an innovative company operating in the industrial all-terrain utility vehicle sector. Recognized for its flagship brand, FAT TRUCK®, the company designs and manufactures specialized vehicles intended for demanding environments (www.FatTruck.com)
Reporting to the Director of Purchasing, the successful candidate will play a key role in replenishing components required for the manufacturing of specialized vehicles. The position involves close collaboration with internal teams to ensure parts availability, smooth operations, and adherence to schedules in a fast-evolving environment.

Job description

  • Analyze parts and components requirements and manage replenishment (MRP)

  • Place purchase orders with suppliers

  • Follow up on order confirmations, delivery timelines, and priorities

  • Coordinate transportation and deliveries with suppliers and carriers

  • Manage returns, delivery discrepancies, and non-conformances

  • Maintain effective relationships with existing suppliers

  • Work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of purchasing processes

  • Optimize procurement costs

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in replenishment, purchasing, or logistics

  • Ability to understand quotations and technical information

  • Strong proficiency in Excel
